Windscreen repair
When you come to us for a windscreen repair, we consider two things. Ideally at Allglass we would rather repair your windscreen then replace it. Allglass offers a windscreen repair service using the 'Glass Medic' system which is recognised as a world leader. What Allglass needs to assess is the location and severity of the damage. Upon this we can determine whether we can repair the damaged glass, or replace the windscreen entirely. Repairing the damage is the preferred option at Allglass saving our customers money.
Before we can begin, the size of the actual chip needs to be determined along with the location of it. The chip cannot be too close to the edge of the windscreen and if it’s positioned in the driver’s line of vision, this too is an area for concern. Once all of these elements are assessed we can proceed with the diagnosis and determine if the chip can be repaired or if the window needs a full replacement.
